As pediatrician physician scientists, we harness these collaborations and our clinical endeavors to Improve the health of children and advance clinically meaningful health-related science.

Our research group studies the role of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and blood retinal barrier (BRB) and neurovascular/retinal-vascular system in health and disease by merging concepts across immunology, neuroscience, and cellular and molecular biology.
